Eastbound U.S. Highway 10 and Highway 65

Spring Lake Park, MinnesotaApr 06, 20101 Comments

Squads sit on grass between eastbound U.S. Hwy. 10 and South Frontage Road, usually facing you to limit profile. They sit just in front of the motel. In the winter they actually have a hole plowed out in the snowbank. Speed limit is 50, but many go well over 55 to 60, you’ll be hit if you come from the on-ramp from northbound Hwy. 65.

The police like to sit in middle of east/west bound lanes on HWY 10 in grassy area as you cross bridge over HWY 65/Central Ave. Usually mid-day to rush hour. If you are going west you may not see them until you get over the bridge and then it is too late.
