State Highway 36 near Stillwater Boulevard
I got pulled over traveling w/b Hwy 36. Cop was sitting under Stillwater Blvd overpass. I got a ticket for 15 mph over the limit (60mph). I deserved it, but I should have known better because I see cops sitting there all the time.
Main Street near Zephyr Bridge just outside of downtown Stillwater
Cops will hide behind the bridge when you are coming out of Downtown and tag you. Enforcement is extremely high during any of the festivals. I have seen as many as 3 cops standing on top of the bridge radar/lasering people and radioing up to 8 squad cars waiting on the other side of the bridge.
State Highway 95 near State Highway 36
North bound Hwy 95 coming off of Hwy 36 at the split is down hill grade where you can pick up speed. There is an officer that is parked in the center median, darked out, and very hard to see. The speed limit is 50mph and you can easily drift over 60mph if you’re not careful. Motorcylists also need to be aware while driving through the downtown Stillwater area. Stillwater officers have very! strict enforcement of loud motorcycle exhaust. Officers have been known to pull over several motorcycles at one time and always issue citations. If you ride a Motorcycle with loud exhaust don’t be surprised if you recieve a citation.
