Flowood, Mississippi Speed Traps
Across from Wal-Mart at Hugh Ward Blvd
Officer will sit in wither one or two places..one is in a makeshift parking lot to the east of Walgreens shooting down the boulevard. The next is actually up near the Wal-Mart parking lot catching people that do not stop at the stop signs
Vine Street near Glensview Drive
Patrolman parks off the road at the end of the curve, there is a school some distance up and needs some control, but more than likely it’s after school that I see them the most.

Flowood Drive near US Highway 468
The Flowood Police Department loves to sit in the median around the bends in this road and give out tickets for speeding.
State Highway 25 near Glensview Drive
This location is on the eastern edge of Flowood, targeting traffic traveling South/ West on Highway 25 before it becomes Lakeland Drive. The speed trap is just on the reverse slope of a hill, 1/4 mile after the speed zone changes from 65 to 55 mph. As long as you recognize the speed zone change and are not doing 70 you will be all right.
State Highway 25 near Pearl River Bridge
Police hide behind at the ends of the Pearl River Bride rails (left and right side) trapping motorist traveling east into Flowood. The highway is 3 lanes wide (6 total) and drivers have a natural tendency to drive 60 to 65 mile per hour, but the speed limit is only 50 MPH. It is a well known and talked about speed trap.
