Hwy 90 Between Ocean Springs and Gautier

They recently changed the speed limit to 45 on this stretch of 90. There is NO reason to have reduced the hwy speed from 55 to 45 rather than creating a speed trap. If you’re traveling Eastbound to work after 0530 BEWARE! Cops are out in force!

Biloxi/Ocean Springs Bridge

East bound traffic from Biloxi to Ocean Springs Beware!!! Speed limit is 55 on the bridge and drops to 45 as you exit. As you are coming down the grade of the bridge OSPD is obscured from your sight by shrubbery. As you exit the bridge (on a small curve) you come into plain view of the officer as he is sitting in a no parking zone on Porter Ave. at the entrance to Hwy 90.

Also, as you continue east you drive over an overpass for the railroad. OSPD will park their motorcycles facing the traffic as you crest the top of the overpass. They are in the median beside the cement barrier!!!

Motorcycle police sit in the Fire Department Parking lot here. The Speed Limit is 25mph and it you are doing 28mph they will stop you. When I asked the officer to turn off his rotating strobes because my wife is prone to seizures he got a real attitude about it.

The police sit in a cruiser off the side of the road in a high-line access service road which is heavily obscured by bushes. At night they have a blacked out cruiser that runs up and down the road ticketing for littering too so keep your cigarettes butts in the car! They are all attitude so don’t bother trying to talk to them about it cause they will just find something else to ticket you for then. Just take the ticket. Pay it or go to court.
