Sunrise Rd near the city limits

Petal, MississippiDec 18, 20110 Comments

If you are going from Petal to Sunrise watch out after you cross lotts creek and round the next curve. He/She will be sitting at the city limit sign. They like to do this after dark in those black cars with their lights off.

Trussel Rd

Petal, MississippiDec 18, 20110 Comments

From Corinth Rd (Three mile cut off) to the end of the city limits on Trussel Rd the speed limit is 20 mph. The police will sit in a drive that was built for a motor home at the bottom of the biggest hill. There is no way to do 20 mph unless riding brakes. So, if you are going form Petal to the Sunrise ball fields you better watch out.

Corinth Rd near the old barn about 1 mile from E G Pkway

Petal police or Petal motorcycle police sits in front of the barn, cars nearing the barn are approaching in a curve and by the time they see the policeman it is too late

Evelyn Gandy Parkway near Old Hwy11 Overpass

Petal, MississippiMay 17, 20081 Comments

The speed limit on the Evelyn Gandy right when you get on is 65, and is until you cross old highway 11, where it drops to 55 at the top of a hill, and right on the other side of the hill where the cruiser sits, downhill, so you have to hit the brake immediately to get the speed down enough. They usually show up the most towards the end of the week or month, which leads me to believe they have a quota to fill. Petal cops are ruthless and number way too many than needed.

Carterville Road near Old gas station

Petal, MississippiApr 09, 20082 Comments

From Carterville Baptist Church and Watts Road beside it until Adams Nursery…make sure you’re actually going 35 mph! They like to sit and wait in the driveway of an old abandoned gas station with their radar going. On any given day, I’ve seen 3 different people pulled over, one at a time, in that short stretch of road.
