South Thomas Street near Cla-Wood Street
Police park their motorcycles over on the side of the street where you can’t see them very well and run radar and then run out in the street and flag you down to write you a speeding ticket. They patrol that area frequently during the morning rush hour and then around lunch, especially at the end of the month. No tolerance either!
Thomas Street near Jackson Street
Coming off Jackson street turning onto Thomas Street or coming off Main Street turning onto Thomas Street the police are either on motorcycle or in a police car parked at the entrance to Winfield Subdivision. The hill makes you pick up speed & then Bamm…they get ya’.
North Gloster Street near Green Street
Going North on Gloster headed toward the Mall area after you pass the Catholic Church on the left you start down the hill the police are usually parked at the landscape business on the right with radar clocking you coming down the hill toward them. Stay in the right lane. They usually go after the left lane people that are higher speed to give a higher price ticket.
Jackson Street near Natchez Trace Parkway
There is a Natchez Trace Parkway place to ride your horses so when you come right under the bridge of the Natchez Trace he is sitting right there hiding in the bushes at the Natchez Trace area.
