Manchester Road at Plunkett Furniture building

Ballwin, MissouriSep 10, 20100 Comments

This has been a speed trap for years. They will sit in the parking lot of the furniture store and due to the hill it is on you can not see them until you are almost passing the building. They catch people like crazy right there.

Reis Road and Jefferson Avenue.

Ballwin PD regularly likes to sit on Jefferson facing East, watching the stop sign at that intersection. You can not see the police car until after you have cleared the stop sign.

Clarkson Rd. & Manchester Rd. Intersection

Ballwin, MissouriApr 24, 20100 Comments

Camera recently installed with new traffic signal with the yellow light pause, set to less than normal… Will get U every time!! $100.00 fine… Travelling South on Manchester Rd. between Clarkson Rd. and Baxter Rd., there are various spots where they wait you out, in about a 2 mile distance… That’s a 4 lane road with a variable 35 – 45 mph speed limit.. Biggest revenue generator around…
Best advice, when traveling on Clarkson, go slow, stop for all yellow lights and stay below the speed limits.

Clayton Road near Baxter Road

Ballwin, MissouriApr 28, 20081 Comments

Clayton Road between Baxter Rd and Kehr’s Mill Rd. is normally 40mph but because of current road construction it is 30mph. Ballwin Police frequently park on lanes under construction or side streets with radar.

New Ballwin Road near Big Bend Road

Ballwin, MissouriSep 15, 20070 Comments

As you travel westbound on Big Bend Road, this will turn into New Ballwin Road once you enter Ballwin. To greet any driver is a "Welcome to Ballwin" sign and a sudden reduction from 40mph to 30 mph in the speed limit. Conveniently, there will be a cop clocking in the first subdivision around a right turning bend. They will pull over anyone going much more than 5 mph over the speed limit. Slow down the moment you see the 30 mph sign.
