Old RT 66, aka Hwy CC, when entering north bound.

When entering north bound into Conway on Old RT 66, aka Hwy CC the road has a curve and a drop in grade as you enter. As you round the corner you will see the Conway city limit sign and a sign stating what the speed is “unless otherwise posted”. The officer positions their car behind the tree-line of the curve near the crest/fall on the hill. When I went through, the afore mentioned speed limit sign was not as neatly mounted as the rest of the signage (crooked) but clearly read 45.. down the road, another ordinary speed limit sign with no additional notation read 35 then very shortly you arrive a stop sign/intersection. The officer will be present at this point stopping you ether before you proceed through the intersection or just after. He will tell you you were doing something between 45 – Full Hwy Speed when you passed the town marker and that you were doing so in a 35. This trap may find you actually doing more than the posted speed JUST as your breaking going down the hill, or more likely, you are observing the posted limit and may be surprised when coming back through several hours later (after 5:00pm in my case) that the speed “unless otherwise posted” entry signage coming in (the way you previously came through) is not only now straight and neat as a pin but also now reads 35 like the one just down the road. I had been warned of this spot many years ago, but didn’t “get it”… I now drive between 25-30mph (with GPS speed logging turned on) through this section of Old RT 66/Hyw CC.. as I mistrust all aspects of the circumstance.
