Beginning at the Schnuck’s Supermarket heading South on S. Florissant Road all the way to the entrance ramp of Hwy 70. Police will sit on either side, but most commonly will sit on the RHS in the Sonic/Walgreen’s parking lot. There is/was heavy construction in the area so the speed limit drops. It begins at 35mph, drops quickly to 30mph, and again drops quickly to 25mph, all in about a 1/4 mile stretch. The police usually sit right inside the 25mph zone. They have been known to not pull you over until the actual construction zone, and tickets increase in price at least $100.

On westbound lanes Cool Valley police sit on the shoulder usually around 11:00 pm and later. Eastbound lanes Missouri Highway Patrol is often seen during daylight hours. Area is construction zone every year it seems so speeds are dropped sometimes without much notice.
