Mound City, Missouri Speed Traps

Missouri State Trooper’s run between Oregon and Mound City Missouri, on occasion. One will generally sit just south of Mound City….the other will start to ‘track’ violater’s with his radar. If you start to feel the urge to speed at the moment, you WILL get hammered. The trooper’s are kind, polite, and professional. You will however, still get the ticket.
The speed limit is 70 mph, so all you have to do is obey the limit, which is generous in my opinion.
