A cop parks in the Community Club parking lot on the side by the gun shop. If you’re coming from Wentzville direction, you can’t see him at all. Coming from Highway D, it’s also easy to miss him. Be smart and just don’t speed through town.

KA band is used shooting cars as they pass from an area of Daniel Boone Elementry School to Holt Road. The officer sits just off Holt Rd. his car faces east. The LEO can also catch speeders comming from the West as they round the corner. If you don’t know where he sits and you don’t slow down while rounding the corner entering New Melle they have got you.

* Note if you are comming from the West you wont see the LEO because he is sitting on Holt road behind the Power Station!

Part-time police are in various places at different times. When the town first got police, a resident received a ticket for going 37 in a 35. They have lightened up but go the speedlimit until you pass the 55 mph signs!
