On Sutter Ave. South of Page
the 20 mph "school zone" speed trap starts at Page Ave. and extends South approximately 75 yards on Sutter Ave. to the University City city limit sign. There is no school on Sutter Ave. and the speed limit once you reach the U. City sign is 25 mph. The Pagedale city limits extends only on the West side of Sutter Ave. for two blocks. The East side of Sutter Ave. is in Wellston, Mo. The boundary line between is in the middle of Sutter Ave. In order for Pagedale radar to work, pointing North on Sutter Ave., it has to be sitting in Wellston or U. City. Might not be legal to start in a different city than the ticket is issued in? But that’s how they get you. I guess if all three departments radars were sit up next to each other they could all write you up at the same time?
