Pumpkin Center, Missouri Speed Traps

Back in the day when Pumpkim Center was more than a sign along 71 Hwy the old boy would set at either end of the posted speed limit and nail any and I mean ANY person doing more than 45. Used to laugh at the ones passing us just knowing he was gonna get them. Then we would go on south about three hills to White Cloud Bottom and have out drag races, out of his jurisdiction. Ahhh, the memories. RDL ’70
