Often in the early afternoon there will be one set up on Harris or Englewood as you travel on 67th street from Raytown Road toward Woodson.
59th Street near Blue Ridge Boulevard
59th Street goes in and out of Raytown and Kansas City. It is patrolled by motorcyle cops in Raytown and police cruisers in Kansas City. The area targeted is between Blue Ridge Cutoff and Norfleet. Kansas City cruisers are normally between Blue Ridge and Woodson, while motorcycle cops from Raytown cover the rest of the stretch of 59th Street. The terraine is hilly and Policemen generally target on of the inclines, mainly during morning and afternoon rush hours.
US Highway 50 near 63rd Street
They (Motorcycle cops) sit at the top of 63rd street exit off of 350 east bound catching speeders coming off of 435 south. As soon as you come on to 350, just look down by the 63rd st sign, if you spot anything unusual, slow it down. 435 is 65mph and 350 is 55mph. Some people don’t realize the change, which is why I call this a Speed Trap.
