Springfield, Missouri Speed Traps
Sheriff’s Deputy sits at the bottom of a hill just south of the Cox Roda and Plainview Road intersection. Speed drops to 30 mph just as you start down the hill, and the radar is usually on you by the time you are on the bridge. The car sits behind a privacy fence in the parking lot at a neighborhood pool on the right at the bottom of the hill as you are travelling northbound.
Greene county sheriff office is known to sit back in the parking lot of the church and the abandoned business along Golden heading towards Battlefield Road. They are there every morning and most of the evenings, sometimes through out the day as well. Several deputy cars will congregrate there.
Just west of Kansas Expressway on Chestnut Expressway in church parking lot or sitting on side street. Usually between 1pm-2pm lunch hour.
Traveling east on Sunshine Street (MO Route 413) from James River Freeway there is a downgrade to the repaired bridge over Wilson Creek. Police or Highway Patrol sit on right shoulder and clock vehicles as they proceed down hill to the bridge.
Car sits in church parking lot facing North to catch speeders going South.
