The speed on this four lane section of road goes from 40 to 25 for no apparent reason. There are no houses no businesses there is a traffic light at 17 that would be the logical location for the speed change for the down town area. Speed trap is designed to score funding from the Soldiers new to the area and their families that visit the area. If you need a cop in Waynesville drive to this section of road and if you want them real fast do 30mph in this 25 zone they will gladly take your money.
