Bellevue, Nebraska Speed Traps
Ft Crook Rd between Capehart and Harvel Dr …mainly before
State troopers and county mounties set up along median north and south mainly just out of site as you clear any hills.
Hy 370 and Hy 75
Hwy Interceptor on 75 N bound on ramp (1/2 way down… can’t see until you’re right on him) (working with others) using LIDAR and writing tickets like crazy. Gave me one while merging N on 75 for going 11mph over (only while merging ahead of traffic)… it was a sham.
My advice, get yourself a escort 9500ix radar detector (best $$ can buy). No more worries for me.
Kennedy Freeway South (U.S. Hwy. 75) at the Chandler Road Exit
Looking for speeders as you round the turn heading toward Chandler Road exit!
Just North of Cornhusker Rd. on Ft. Crook Rd. N
Looking for anything he can find…but especially for people making improper turns from Cornhusker Rd. onto Fort Crook Road North. Make sure you take that far left lane from Cornhusker Rd. or he will pull you over!!!!
Chandler Road near Kennedy Expressway
This is a trap I’ve seen quite often. There are usually 2 police officers/vehicles parked in the westbound land about 1/4 mile off the exit ramp. This restircts the lane down to 1. This is pretty suddden because it is located at the bottom of a small hill. This has also been used as a seatbelt or general inspection stop as well.
