It is a permanent check point that they man from time to time to catch drug runners on the Interstate. The State Police even have installed permanent signs that they fold down when they aren’t on the troll. I have been through it many times and have never been stopped, but I have Nebraska plates from Hamilton County. They profile looking for out of state plates.
