26/30/N-S highway west of 30 near the airport

Do not speed in this town, and pay very close attention to the speed limits(most are 25). The mega fundraiser is the highway on the west side of town that goes north from 30 to the lake (near the "searle airport". That stretch pays a lot of salaries. Also, ANYWHERE on 92 along the lake is a gauntlet-and the speed limits drop from 55 to 35 at times-pay attention, because that is where you’ll get nailed, and nailed hard. I’ve never been popped there, but they are everywhere.

Nebraska State Trooper’s have also marked the shoulders of this highway with white stripes that their airplane uses as reference points to time you between these stripes. The Trooper’s usually work a ‘gauntlet’ on U.S. highway 26 AND 61, which merge just before you would get on to I-80. Garden County deputies sometimes run ‘interference’ for the Trooper’s, letting them know ‘who’s coming’ via radio. The planes and the radar work in concert. The Trooper’s stage at the 26/61 merger, just to make sure nobody gets away.

Thrumped up charges. Cruise control set for 65 in a 65. Actually going between 66-67. Was stopped by officer that approached from the east. He turned around immediately. Claims we were clocked doing 82. Claims we did not slow down as he approached us from the rear. Using MPH X_band radar. Two read outs on his radar. His and mine, his was 80 mine was blank. X-band radars can not usually be used on same direction situtations. I am out of stater, you figure out the rest. His last comment: after repeatly saying it during our conversation. "SEE YOU IN COURT". Local attorney is aware of the problem. He agrees with me. But, can’t fight City Hall.
