Motorcycle cop sits on the one ramp to the 215 at North 5th Street where the concrete guard rail hides him from view until you are easily within range of his radar unit. Usually out there on mornings to get the poor working slobs during their morning commute. The City of North Las Vegas likes to empty your pockets for you prior to your earning it.

The motorcycle cop usually sits right after the bridge on the right hand side pointing his radar gun at you as you come over the bridge. The speed limit is 45mph..He is usually there 4 to 5 times a week.

Lamb Road ,north of Craig, to the Northern Beltway (215)

North Las Vegas, NevadaMar 15, 20100 Comments

Clark County School District Cops have set up a speed trap on Lamb Road north of Craig and south of the 215 Beltway. Three patrol units were involved, one with a radar gun ( or something like it) and two making stops!

There is no school close to that location. There is a 45 mph speed limit on this wide open nearly rural road where many Airmen from Nellis travel to and from work. It is easy to exceed the speed on this wide open road.

West Craig is already a known place for multiple speed traps. The motorcycle cops have really taken a shine to the intersection of W. Craig and MLK/Camino Al Norte. I saw them pull over 4 cars within 15 minutes there. They have to pay for those new BMW bikes. I only saw them pulling over cars southbound but watch from all directions.
