The police car is parked west of the intersection of Vaughn Harvey and Assomption at the approach to the Gunningsville Bridge. Speed readings can be taken for cars proceeding to the intersection from three directions. The bridge is four lane with a 50k limit so there is a tendency to speed.

I am a Police Officer with the Traffic Section here with the RCMP. I am glad to be able to write in this page to tell you where we hide or where we get more speedign tickets. Traffic circle in Dieppe (110 km/hrs turn to 60 km/hrs). Since a man got killed on the circle we do radar there to save lifes. However my tolerence is 30 km/hrs. If you are doing 95 km/hrs in this 60 km/hrs zone, you will get a ticket. Very reasonable. Mclaughlin Dr is also a big speed problem. Folk for me to give a ticket there you have to do at least 86 km/hrs in this 60 km/hrs zone. The following places are also major problem and if you are doing 76 km/hrs and more in these 50 km/hrs you will get a ticket:Champlain st, Amirault st, Pascal st, Thomas st, Melanson Rd, Chartersville Rd. Morton Ave, Killam Dr, Gorge Rd, Ryan Rd, Coverdale Rd, White pine Rd, Trites, Rd, Mountain Rd, Front Mountain Rd, Wheeler Blvd. These are where we get more tickets. I am not afrait to tell you this because our goal is not to have tickets but our goal is that you drive safely and that we will not have to go see your family looking at our feet with a message of death. Seat belt is a zero tolerence policy and please stop at stop sign and red light.
