Interstate 89 North exits on to Route 202&9 west. The speed limit in this section is 40MPH. As you travel west and round the curve about to enter the 50 zone the Hopkinton and State Police sit on the side of the road running Ka band and laser radar. You cannot see them until you round the bend and are still in the 40 zone. This saection of road is built for speeds of 65 so most cars are going 55-65 since they just exited the Interstate. Jewett Road near Clinton Street

Hopkinton, New HampshireSep 26, 20070 Comments

About a 1/2 mile or so from the intersection of Routes 13 & 77 (Clinton Street) on Jewett Road just over the Hopkinton townline from Dunbarton are two areas; one on each side of the road that allow the police to stay hidden until you’re right on top of them. The police are there at all times of the day, but since I travel this route daily I’ve noticed that they’re frequently there during the morning and afternoon commute.
