Rt. 11 Georges Mills Fire Station

Sunapee, New HampshireMar 24, 20110 Comments

Leaving Georges Mills heading west towards Sunapee the speed limit is 35. You will see as you come to a very large hill that the speed limit changes to 50…but not until AFTER you start the climb. DO NOT speed up before the 50 sign to help your car climb the hill. The police will be waiting for you on the left in the Fire Station parking lot.

The same is true for traveling DOWN the hill heading into George’s Mills. Teh speed limit is 50 but changes to 35 while you are still heading down the hill. Don’t wait until you reach the bottom of the hill to slow down. Make sure you are going 35 before the sign or they will stop you.

RT 11 Coming soth from Georges Mills

Sunapee, New HampshireMay 04, 20100 Comments

Rt 11 drops down a big hill and way up the hill, the speed drops to 30mph from 50mph. Curious, there is nothing thwere to slow donw for? They sit at the bottom of that hill in various parking lots. They have a nice new Safety building at the bottom of the hill, benifit of the unwarry. Do NOT exceed 30MPH in the entire town anywhere, they like the revenue.
