I-295 N & S rest area just North of Bordentown

Bordentown, New JerseyJun 10, 20110 Comments

Approx. 1 mile North from Rte. 295 Exit 57A (the intersect of Rte 130 & I-295.) St. Troopers will sit in either the Northbound rest area and/or Southbound rest area taking laser shots at motorists. They can usually be found in this area in the mornings during heavy traffic from around 8am to 9:30am. Thereafter it is sporadic depending on their break times and donut runs.

New Jersey Turnpike – Exit 7 Northbound

Right at the exit ramp for Exit 7, a state trooper will have his car parked at an angle to the traffic on the other side of the guard rail for the exit ramp. I have seen them there several times and they are using a laser speed gun aimed out the drivers side window towards the oncoming northbound traffic. My laser radar detector went crazy just as I became in view of the trooper. They weren’t just testing it out, as I saw them go after a speeder and stop them as I was exiting there.

U.S. Hwy. 206 Just South of White Horse Circle as You Cross I-195

The road is wide and down hill if you are coming from Hamilton into Bordentown. Very easy to go faster than you think here and they like pulling people over. Very Important!!! — If you will be driving through Bordentown on U.S. Hwy. 130 or U.S. Hwy. 206 especially at night. Be aware. Bordentown cops love to get behind cars and run your license plate! So if you have some kind of teenage provisional license and have rules such as no driving past midnight…they will find out and pull you over. Or if you forgot to pay some parking ticket and your license is suspended… They Will get you so be very aware. They also do random traffic stops on U.S. Hyw. 130 and U.S. Hwy. 206. If you don’t feel like randomly being pulled over so they can check to see who you are, you might want to take an alternate route.
