Watch out! NJ State Trooper vehicles park in between brush hidden from both roadways. An area has been cleared just enough in the middle for a car to park, car is completely covered on the right and left side by trees.

Bound Brook Officers sit at the firehouse, just behind the building almost daily. When heading towards Rt. 22, they’re hidden behind a row of bushes, and when heading away from Rt. 22 down into Bound Brook, they’re just far enough behind the building so you can’t see them. The speed limit there is 25mph, so do it. You never know when they’re there, so don’t take the chance. It’s really easy to get moving up to 40mph there, especially when coming off of 22, but watch yourself there. They will pull you over for doing 35mph, sometimes even 30mph. They’re usually there during the AM and PM rush hours, but can also be there at any time. There’s no pattern. When moving towards 22, once you pass the sign that says "thank you for visiting Bound Brook" you’re in Bridgewater, but there still can be Bridgewater cops on the side roads, so don’t go beyond 35mph until you’re on the northern side of 22.
