Police Station is VERY nearby & they are ALWAYS in the area… lingering. Pay close attention 2 the traffic lights AND street signs (i.e. No Turn On Red; No U Turns; etc). They LOVE 2 gove tickets!

Speed limits are enforced by using radar, especially on weekends and end of the month (i.e., when you receive your paycheck!). Usually police are not in area during rush hour traffic. If your car has an out-of-state (or out of area= NJ, PA, DE) plate, be particularly aware. Police give the ticket in the hope that you will not fight it; if you are, say, from North Carolina or Florida, chances are you will not come back to court to fight the ticket. If you drive a rental with out-of-state plates, be also aware. After a ticet is issued, you will have to wait 3 months for a scheduled court appearance.
