EVERY MORNING Police sit in Shopping center parking lot behind trees at traffic light -near the cross road access to Kings Hwy- watchig speeders and light runners. This is a big money maker.
Marlkress Road near SE Gate Drive
Cruiser lurks near the island on SE Gate Drive, clocking cars driving past Marlkress Road. Speed limit drops from 45 to 25 when driving southwest on Marlkress (towards Kresson Road), and the SE Gate Drive crossing is shortly after the speed limit drop. This trap has been active for over 30 years and probably brought the town many thousands of dollars in revenue.
