route 22 is one of the worst roads around, all the way till it ends at millers tavern, they sit at every u turn on that road, constantly, from clinton honda to fountain motel you might see 3 on a good day, always 1 if not 2.
State Route rt 31 near North Hunterdon HS
Highway Check Point Charlie on Rt 31, stopping everybody looking for violations. My 65 year old wife was stopped and they saw a red inspection sticker. A few days before the car was rejected at the NJ MV inspection station for the wear bars on the front tires being worn down. They gave her a ticket for the wear bars showing. Inspection station gives you 30 days to correct this type of violation. What happened next in court was something else. We will never give any money to the PBA ever again for such bad treatment by Clinton police. We will get out money back by not giving to the PBA! Just this week [early March 2008] we saw police cars cruising around the Shop-Rite parking lot in Clinton and putting tickets on parked cars. What is that all about, and on the way home we saw our newly retired neighbor being stopped [2 squad cars], on Old Hwy 22 for some kind of violation. Old people never fight the cops on a highway stop, maybe thats it! Watch the "COPS" show its aways young guys.

Cop sits in "drive" of old tavern right by the entrance to 78 East/exit off 78 West by the overpass. He will also occassionally sit in the Shell station at different times.
