Old Stage Rd and Summerhill Rd

East Brunswick, New JerseyMay 25, 20160 Comments

The speed limit going west on Old Stage/north on Summerhill toward the intersection is 35 mph. However, after ShopRite/7-Eleven respectively, the speed limit is 25 mph. There is a lot of police cars (Spotswood) in the area.

Dunhams Corner Road between Crystal Springs and Cranbury Rd

East Brunswick, New JerseyApr 07, 20150 Comments

This is a busy road that used to have a 40 MPH speed limit, which has been lowered to 30 MPH due to many accidents and for the fact that it’s residential. Cops are always in this area, so be careful and don’t do over 30. You will pay the price.

Old Bridge T’pke and Main Street

East Brunswick, New JerseyDec 21, 20120 Comments

Opposite of the firehouse, past Chestnut Street and the cemetry that precedes it, a police officer will sit in the parking lot, or in a little section facing Northbound traffic on Old Bridge Turnpike. The idea is to catch people doing two things…anyone that may be exceeding the 35mph speed limit going down that hill approaching that major interestion leading to Rt 18N, or to stop anyone that will not acknowledge the STOP sign that regulates traffic entering Old Bridge Turnpike (it’s the exit "Main Street/Spotswood" if you were traveling NB on Rt 18). Please be very careful, as this is a very dangerous intersection, and the East Brunswick PD knows it! And now, so do you!

Rt. 18 South Bound near Spotswood exit

East Brunswick, New JerseyOct 12, 20120 Comments

Police sit in the grass near the exit for Bordentown Ave/Main St. Speed limit is extremely low at 45 mph on a very wide stretch of 4 lanes going downhill.

Fern Road right off Dunham’s Corner Road

East Brunswick, New JerseyFeb 19, 20120 Comments

The speed limit is 25mph which feels too slow for a road of that size and since it is 40mph at the other end beginning at Old Stage Road and goes to 35mph once you cross Cranbury. It becomes 25mph after Candle Lane and continues to be 25mph to the end at Dunhams Corner Rd.
