Hillsborough, New Jersey Speed Traps
206 Bypass Southbound after bridge
Cops wasting people’s time hiding on a private driveway behind trees on downhill stretch immediately after the high arching bridge on NJ’s biggest highway project failure, the 206 bypass, the 1 mile stretch of isolated highway worthy super flat road used by about 1 car every 5 minutes, with high fences on both sides, no residential or business buildings anywhere near it and has a limit of 50mph, same as the ridiculously congested, single lane both ways, built up actual 206, where I constantly see people meandering over lines because they’re playing with their phones and no cops ever stop them. Obviously just revenue collection since this project has been sitting there unfinished for like 10 years now, there is no way anyone could have an accident there by driving at a normal highway speed of 65mph.
NEXT TO PINE TREES PLANTED NEXT TO WOODFIELD PARK
Cop places his vehicle next to Woodfield Park at the intersection of Marshall and Amwell Road. He hides his vehicle on a slight hill between a pine tree and the fence bordering the park. It’s a good spot since he is hidden from traffic coming from both directions (from Route 206 and Flemington area).
BEEKMAN LANE
Cop posted in a field on a slight hill on Beekman Lane, Hillsborough about 400 feet from River Road where there is a slight curve in the road. This is a good site since you don’t see him until you go around the curve. He has his radar pointed at traffic coming from Amwell Road and New Center Road.
Parking lots of Woodfield Park, monitoring Amwell Road
They use both parking lots (off Marshall and Beekman) of Woodfield Park to monitor traffic on Amwell Road. It’s a good spot since it’s a blind spot hidden by trees and brush.

The Hillsborough police have a sense of humor. They install a cash dummy in a police car next to Klein Scrap Metals.
