Beaver Brook Road near State Route 202

Lincoln Park, New JerseyJan 14, 20080 Comments

They sit either by the (across from)Gro-Rite garden centers or on Bog n Vly lane. Speed limit is 40- Lincoln Park seems to be willing to ticket at 5+ over limit. There are no homes on this road, and not a lot of traffic, so it is easy to hit 50 mph. However, this road is used a lot by seniors not wanting to use the highways. They drive way slow and it is not a passing road. I have seen people get frustrated enough to pass anyway. I think this is why the trap is there now.

On Rt 202 going towards Lincoln Park from Rt 23, pass the Grasshopper on left and over the train tracks, there is a deli parking lot on the left that there is ALWAYS a cop sitting in late night. sometimes they will pull out just to pace you and go back to the deli. i’ve heard my radar detector going off, but sometimes they just pull out pace you while running your tag. This happens ALL THE TIME!

As you come into Lincoln Park from Pequannock, there is a lake on your left hand side, they sit ib the grass just off the road, so that they can tach people coming around the bend. I see them in the morning and evening.

Boonton Turnpike/202 Road near Farm

LPPD has a new laser detector they like to use on 202. They will hide either on Susquehanna or by the Hilltop Farms complex and shoot the beam down the straightaways. Confirmed by laser detector then observation.
