Medford Lakes, New Jersey Speed Traps

As you approach from the east (Rt. 206) the speed limit drops rapidly from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25. The traps begin all over the 35 and 25mph areas, anytime day or night and has been for years.

Police park along side of road in wooded areas where speed limit drops from 50 mph to 40 mph or closer to town where the speed limit drops from 40 mph to 35 mph. If you are 5 mph over the limit you will get a ticket. They can be monitoring either direction and you will not see the black vehicle until you are upon it.

Patrol car hiding just off the road often near the entrance to Medford Lakes Country Club looking for speeders exceeding the 25 mph limit.

Patrol cars will park anywhere along the road or will traverse the road looking for anyone exceeding the 25 mph limit.

They like to sit dark, navy blue cars…especially at night.
