Mountain Lakes, New Jersey Speed Traps

All along Morris, between Fanny Road and Briarcliff Road, the speed limit is 25. (It’s a residential area.) I have mostly seen police cars parked along the side of the road between Fanny and Powerville, or in the parking lot of the company on Morris. You do not see them until it is too late to slow down, and they will ticket.

Right by the Church on Pocono road a half a mile before St Clares Hospital, speed limit is 25 traffic maintains at about 35 miles, they highly enforce this 25 speed limit. They wait in the parking lot at the church or on the side road just over the top of the hill when its going into a 30 mile hr zone

Officers position themselves in the Hess Gas Station parking lot facing westbound utilizing RADAR on both EB and WB vehicles. In addition they like to sit on the center grass median between Cherry Hill Road and the Boulevard observing vehicle in both directions.

Wide main road through a residential area. Speed limit is 35mph but can sustain at minimum of 45 mph. Police tend to not be lenient
