US Highway 1 near US Highway 130
North Brunswick Police will hide in the shadow of the RT 130 overpass. 1 Officer will take radar and then radio to a lineup of others waiting in line as to which car to stop. This happens almost everyday ,all day.
State Route 1 near State Route 130
Cops usually sit underneath the bridge on Rt. 1. The speed limit is 50, but it’s easy to go 70. Also, the exit ramp for Rt.130 on southbound Rt. 1 has a posted speed limit of 25, but people usually go 50, so watch out.
Route 1 and route 130 junction (construction zone)
The trap is anywhere in the constuction zones. Most tickets are given out on rt 130 where the speed limit was dropped from 50 to 35, but a large amount of tickets are also given out on route 1 where the speed limit was dropped from 50 to 40 (note the flow of traffic speed was about 55-60) The cops are using mainly x band and will target a specific area for a few hours. Speed traps are very common.
