Norwood, New Jersey Speed Traps

Heading north on Livingston Street, they hide on the left hand side in the old cost cutters parking lot.

This is one of only 3 North-South roads through NE Jersey. To the south, in Harrington Park, this road is 45MPH. Once you enter Norwood, the speed limit drops to 25. The first 25MPH sign is approximately 1/8mi into Norwood although I’m pretty sure the 25 zone starts at the edge of town. Cops sit around the bend and will nail you before you even see the sign. As soon as you exit Norwood, the road goes back up to 35. This is a straight road, and is almost impossible to do 25 on. In fact, if you do 25 you will be tailgated. The road would certainly be safe at 35 even though it is a residential area. Note: I see cops sitting on Norwood roads more than any other town in North Jersey. Be aware!
