Oakland, New Jersey Speed Traps

This Trap is tucked into the shoulder of the entrance ramp to Rt. 287. It is the entrance before the exit for Oakland. You can see them once you are on top of them, but slowwing down then might be too late.

Right when you come around the bend to merge onto Rt287 So. They sit in the median.. Its a blind spot for motorist and by the time you see them, its too late

Driving toward Mahwah, if you pass the entrance ramp right before the Oakland exit, you might want to check your rearview mirror and wave to the police officer that has been sitting on the entrance ramp waiting for you.
