Palmyra, New Jersey Speed Traps

Under the overpass leading into Pennsauken, Palmyra cops love sitting in the Villari’s Milmarian diner parking lot. They watch traffic on Rt. 73 waiting for the next speeder. They aren’t there every day but u can find them there most between 10pm – 6am. I see them all the time. Also, they sit in the gas station parking lot across from the diner. U just gotta have good eyes because their headlights are usually off.

Be careful!!! They are always there!!!! Speed limit is an unrealistic 25mph.The road leeds on and off the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. They will even ticket the locals—-the ones that contribute towards their pay checks.

Trap may be in either direction. It will be located on either side of the RR trestle crossing Rt 73 just south of the north side Roger Wilco Liquior store. If you have a Valentine 1 and the detector shows 2 signals as usual, don’t be fooled. Cops probably have an arrangement with store owner as only 2 signals show up. Appearently one of the door openers is turned off when the cops set up shop. Only way to tell is that the radar is a little stronger than usual. They may be there any time from late night to early AM, but not on a regular basis. Also note that there is everything you can imagine in that area to interfer with the signal.
