Pinebrook, New Jersey Speed Traps

Located about 50 yards BEFORE exit 47 (Montville/Pinebrook)on a EMERGENCY USE ONLY U-TURN, facing both Route 80 EAST/WEST directions. Almost everday you will find 1-2 state troopers monitoring the flow in this area at the same time. There is a clear view of this area from about 1/4 mile out traveling west which gives some time to slow down. Route 80 EAST is where most of the people are pulled over because bushes block oncoming traffics view of the troopers. I have a clear view of the area from my office window and see at least 7-10 cars pulled over a day. It seems to be very common from 9am up to about 5pm and then it dies off. Also, keep in mind that they use this U TURN a lot as a place to meet up or to respond to any accidents in that area- use cautions at all times.
