Roxbury, New Jersey Speed Traps
Landing Road Eastbound at Rt 80 intersection
the officer sits in the median in at the The RT 80 underpass waiting for somone to exceed th 35 mph limit. They usually wait until your doing 50 but that is easy because it is an unpopulated stretch of highway and you are traveling downhill and likely to be accelarating for the ramp entrance to Rt 80 East
State Route 10 near Main Street
Route 10 West coming into Roxbury at the junction of Main Street, Succasunna: police park in the Suburban Furniture lot and aim at cars coming down the hill.
Howard Boulevard near State Route 46
Howard Boulevard heading south between Route 80 and Route 46. As you start to descend the hill towards Route 46.
Berkshire Valley Road near US Highway Route 46
Car usually on the northbound side in a small opening about 1/4 mile in from Rt 46
US Highway 206 near US Highway 80
For those who know the area, this part of Roxbury is bordering Flanders in Mt. Olive Township. The area is on the northbound side of Rt. 206 where the Roxbury police will hide in a small wooded lot on the right side of the road just a short distance before the State Police Barracks and the entrance to Rt. 80 (before the entrance to the Trade Zone shopping area). The speed limit is 50 but most people travel over this on the 2 lanes offered headed in this direction. I have seen them there several times and have gotten a ticket once from a Roxbury cop hiding in this spot.
