State Route 23 near between rt 287 and rt 80
This place is notorious for speedtraps up and down both directions.The police sit in unmarked vehicles usualli tan or black and just cherry pick the whole day. The speed limit is 50 mph. I use the road everyday both directions at different parts of the day and there is always someone pulled over. The most likely place to see the traps are between Route 287 and Route 80. The cops just sit and hide behind bushes or even behind parked cars in parking lots. These townships are totally in it for the money

they will hide anywhere on Berdan, mostly behing the toys r us HQ sign….or in the historic house parking lot…
RT 23 North Bound Right after Paul Miller BMW
Soon as you go over the ramp on 23 North bound by ALPS ROAD exit, you tend to speed up a bit. Be careful as you are approaching the BMW dealer on your right. There are always marked cop cars in the big parking lot next to the dealership.
Rt.23 to Rt.202
They set up their cars on the left side of Rt. 202 just after you come off Rt. 23 south. You go from 50mph to 35mph. They are there more often than not. But it’s not the locals that set up the radar it’s Passaic County Sheriff.
