As you climb the RR bridge and the Loop Motel passes on the left, there will be a radar unit just over the crest of the "hill". Hours vary, but it’s a favorite spot.

Parking lot Avenel Middle School

Woodbridge, New JerseyApr 17, 20100 Comments

As you travel from St. George Av (Rt. 35) towards Rt. 1 on Woodbine Av, a marked unit is in the school parking lot. There’s a soccor field as you approach the school that’s slightly elevated. The marked unit is usually hiding behind this hill. You’ll never have a chance to slow down before you see him. May be there any time the parking lot is empty.

Ford Avenue (In Ford, NJ)

Woodbridge, New JerseyApr 01, 20100 Comments

Ford Avenue between U.S. Hwy. 1 and New Brunswick Avenue has been a profitable speed trap for Woodbridge since 1975! Be careful in the evenings when there is very little traffic on the road. Do not exceed the 25 miles per hour limit, even if the person in the car behind you is tailgating you with their high beams.

Chain O Hills Road between St. Georges Ave & Green St.

Unmarked car sits in cul de sac Nicole Ct and also further down on Chain O Hills Road in a fake little driveway on the left side when driving towards New Dover Road

Woodbridge Avenue near bridge over New Jersey Turnpike

Woodbridge, New JerseyMay 09, 20081 Comments

As you go over the bridge of the New Jersey Turnpike on Woodbridge Ave, there is a cop with a radar hiding in some kind of business right at the bottom of the bridge. (if you are coming from Berry St where the police station is, it’ll be on the left at bottom of bridge)He is hard to spot because there is a privacy fence and he is hiding behind this tank looking thing. Speed limit is 25 mph but you are so tempted to do more than that.
