Speedtrap in construction zone in Paradise Hills & Lyon area. Officers hide on the side street behind a brick wall, clock you from a distance on radar, walk into the street, and wave you over. They pull over car after car and line them up on a residential side street. Very easy way to make their monthly quota in a couple hours.
Lomas Blvd. and Wyoming
Red light camera facing west toward Lomas traffic at Wyoming intersection. Catches people tryijng to beat the light turning left to get to a freeway-east onramp. Left turn permitted 15 seconds out of every 4 minutes (approx.)–enough time for only 5-6 cars to turn. This intersection was designed to frustrate drivers attempting to get to frwy.– a perfect no hastle fwy. on-ramp about 1/4 mi. further east was destroyed a few years ago. Drivers need to lobby for its reinstatement.
Paseo Del Norte Street near Paradise Street
Saturday and Sunday afternoons. 3-4 police officers are in the center divide. As you pass paradise, going East on Paseo Del Norte towards Golf Course Rd. The speed limit is 35mph but could easily be 45mph.
