Red light camera intersections
All red light cameras in Albuquerque are now also speeding cameras. They will catch you if you go 10 mph over the limit, even while the light is green. According to news articles, the intersections include: Montgomery and Eubank, Montgomery and Wyoming, Montgomery and San Mateo, Paseo del Norte and Coors, Juan Tabo and Lomas and San Mateo and Menaul. However, there are also cameras at Wyoming and Menual. Additionally, the 3 speeding vans will be randomly deployed in school zones, and will ticket if you go 5 mph over the limit.
Tramway Boulevard near Montgomery Boulevard
Cops are pulling everyone over whos speeding on the bridge between manitoba and montgomery on tramway during the night. It is very dark and you can not see the pigs until your lights hit them……there were about 6 cop cars parked in the middle of the road
Golf Course Boulevard near Greene Street
Golf Course between Paradise Hills and Irving they are at Greene.
Interstate 25 near Tramway Boulevard
APD officers use a "cherry-picker" to run radar/laser over I-25 northbound traffic. They will then dispatch the discription of the suspect vehicle to officers waiting down the road. Speed limit is 65 MPH. After the Tramway exit, the speed limit is 70 MPH.
Irving Boulevard near Chantilly Drive
Motorcycle cop! He stands on the sidewalk with his radar gun and if he detects your speeding he’ll walk to the middle of the lane and pull you over.
