on Ellison/Loma Larga on way into Corrales

City has 25 mph sign then Village of Corrales extends it approximately 75 yards around a bend in the road; where there is a perfect area for a “permanent” speed trap to catch people on Loma Larga speeding at 30 MPH, which is the speed for the next few miles of that road and the entire main roads of the Village of Corrales. I have seen at least one driver pulled per day at that location for years. It is the joke of the Village!

The town of Corrales is well-known by area locals for zero-tolerance traffic enforcement. The residents of the town are in on the game and will drive below the posted limit just to be annoying. The posted limit on the main road through town is 30-35 mph, all other roads 15-25 mph. Recommend not going into or through Corrales unless you aren’t in a hurry or have business there.
