Gallup cops like to sit in open lot across from Albertson Store on Hwy. 66 either during evening/night to catch speeders. Open lot is next door to China fast food restaurant on Highway 66.

US Highway 66 near Rehobeth
Coming from US Hwy 66(Church Rock) into Gallup, NM or from into US Hwy 66(Gallup)to Church Rock area. Right as you approch Rehoboth area and SunDance area they are Gallup, sheriff, NM State, Navjio Nation Police sit at the Gallup Mentor Center watching for speeders and maybe no seatbelts. Sometimes they do not have radar/laser gun on. Warning Please Beware!

On US HWY 66 at Fina Gas Station and the UPS store at night time Gallup cops marked/unmarked cars plus sheriff dept also sits underneath the canape from Fina Gas Station trying catch speeders between 8pm – 1am. Plus they alternate the hrs each day.

In Gallup, New Mexico sheirff, state and Gallup police will park underneath I40 bridge on Hwy route 66 parked backwards in both directions.
