Luna, New Mexico Speed Traps

Coming across from Alpine AZ to New Mexico the speed reduces from 65 to 55 and then there is a 50 sign that has large yellow paddles on it. There is new state highway patrol cop that hides there and then comes up from behind you and lights you up. The locals tell me he is not appreciated by the locals for his rudeness and lack of professionalism, booking people for a few miles over the 50 limit. He particularly loves giving motorcyclists a hard time. The local judge throws out half his tickets, the locals say.
