Towaoc, New Mexico Speed Traps

Right across the Colorado border on US 491 (near Four Corners area) there were 5 cops waiting to hand out tickets as the speed lowered. Fortunately I was following someone who must have been familiar because they didn’t go one mile over the speed limit and I was about to pass them when I spotted the first cop. Then I saw four more. A town this small that has 5 cops has to pay the bills somehow. I wouldn’t go even five over until you hit Cortez.
