Bayside, New York Speed Traps
WB Horace Harding Expwy @ Springfield Blvd
It is placed by exit 29 LIE, so when you exit and go on Horace Harding Expwy, you do not have enough time to reduce your speed from 55 to below 31, and they know it very well.

Speed camera. Permanent, pole mounted. Hidden behind a wooden utility pole. Points northbound on Bell Boulevard.
Clearview Expressway from 26 Ave to Union Turnpike
The Clearview Expressway in its entirety is notorious for being a speed-trap. Motorists who use it frequently know not to drive above 50 mph (the speed limit). Hiding areas for marked and unmarked police cars are many. You will be well advised to keep your speed at 50mph as even a 53mph will get you a ticket. Do not get you hopes high when you see someone getting a summons, as there may very well be another patrolman waiting for you 500 to 1000 feet ahead.
Northbound Clearview Expressway at the 26th avenue entrance
There is often a marked police car sitting on the entrance ramp at 26th avenue. He is not visible from the highway, as the ramp is blocked by an overpass and bushes, but he has a good view of the traffic heading toward the bridge of the Willets Point exit. I have not been caught there, but I have seen several motorists pulled over at this spot.
