Cheektowaga, New York Speed Traps

Sitting in the turn around lane on the 33 for cars headed East on Rt 33 toward the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

The Cheektowaga Police routinely have a radar trap set up in either the entrance to Stieglemeir Park, the parking lots of either St Mary’s Eastern Orthodox Curch or St Phillips RC Church all of which are adjacent to the park entrance. They routinely patrol this stretch of Losson Rd in the evenings and it’s a great source of revenue fo rthe tTown. Also be aware of deer in this area since there are many accidents in the Spring & Fall in this particular area.

Transit Rd (Rt 78) between Walden Ave and Como Park Blvd. Multiple hiding spots on either side of the road. Speed limit is 35 mph which for a 4 to 5 lane road is rather low. Watch out near the high school and watch out near the train bridges. This stretch of road has been generating a LOT of revenue for the town of Cheektowaga for a long time. And that’s also the reason why it’s still in place.

Most of the time on french road you will find them sitting in garden village plaza or the kml parking lot hidden at the top where you cant see them. they are always there at night when they cant be seen.
