State Route 94 near US Highway 94

Chester, New YorkAug 11, 20080 Comments

They are at the entrance of Chester coming from Washingtonville. They do not need radar to stop you. They have stoped me at least four times just to check my vehicle. I work the nightshift at a hospital and I get to see them every night. I do have a custom exaust which is well below the noise level.

LaRoe Road near State Route 17

Chester, New YorkJun 02, 20070 Comments

This stretch of road is 4.2 miles long. Posted speed 45 mph. Every spring they unnecessarily mark it as "construction zone" (i.e. double fines) for men trimming trees, and reduce the speed to 30 mph. It’s nothing but a cash cow for the town of Chester. The crews use flagmen like they do across the state. But somehow they need to tie up four miles of road for months every year.
